Splash into Summer

About This Event

Summer kickoff event with water activities and family fun.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to park and snag a shady spot; bring a blanket or small chair for breaks between activities.
• 2.For water activities, wear water shoes and apply sunscreen; if your kid can’t swim well, bring a personal flotation device and check whether life jackets are provided.
• 3.Map out a quick loop of the activity stations so the kids don’t burn out—rotate through stations and plan a few 15–20 minute blocks.
• 4.Pack snacks and plenty of water; concessions may be limited at a park event, so come prepared.
• 5.Dress for heat and sun; breathable clothing, hats, and sunscreen; reapply sunscreen regularly and watch the forecast for heat or storms.
