Splash Pad Storytime

About This Event

Free outdoor storytime for children ages 3-6 featuring stories, rhymes, and movement on the Discovery Trail near the splash pad.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a few minutes early to snag a spot along the Discovery Trail near the splash pad and bring a small blanket for your kid to sit on.
• 2.The program mixes stories with movement, so wear comfy shoes and sunscreen because you may be standing and moving around.
• 3.Keep an eye on your child near the splash pad since water features and crowds can be tempting, and bring a change of clothes or a towel.
• 4.Parking around Heritage Park can fill up on summer mornings, so plan to arrive early and follow posted signs for parking.
• 5.This is a free, kid friendly event, so you probably won't need tickets; bring a snack and water to keep everyone comfortable.
• 6.If weather looks doubtful, check for cancellation notices at the park or on the Discovery Trail entrance before you head out.
