Storytime by the Splash Pad

Designed for children ages 3-6. Meet on the Discovery Trail near the Splash Pad for stories, rhymes, and movement, followed by outdoor play and splash pad time.
What to Expect
- 1.You'll hear a short story, sing a few rhymes, and do light movement with the other families. The setup is right along the Discovery Trail near the Splash Pad, so you can see water play afterward.
- 2.The crowd will be families with preschoolers, the vibe is relaxed and kid friendly, and most people are open to chat if you want to.
- 3.There probably aren't food stalls on site, so bring water and a snack if needed; sunscreen, a hat, and water shoes help since there is splash pad time.
- 4.Plan to arrive a few minutes early to meet at the designated spot and keep an eye on the clock; parking is on Farmington Road near Heritage Park.
- 5.If you're new to this kind of park program, bring a towel and a change of clothes for your kid, and don't stress if your child wanders for a bit; it's designed for short attention spans.
