Suffs

About This Event

The Tony Award-winning musical SUFFS comes to Detroit, exploring the women's suffrage movement.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to park or ride in advance; downtown Detroit parking near the Fisher Theatre can fill up, so give yourself extra time to find a spot and stroll to the box office.
• 2.Sit in center orchestra or front mezzanine for the best sightlines and reach of the live singing and choreography; the theatre's proscenium setup makes the middle seats ideal.
• 3.Most musicals have an intermission—use it to stretch, use the restrooms, grab a snack, and check the program for notes from the production.
• 4.Fisher Theatre offers accessible seating and assistive listening options, so call ahead if you need accommodations or specific seating.
• 5.Knowing a bit about the suffrage movement beforehand can deepen your experience; a quick refresher on the historical context will help you catch references in the songs and dialogue.
