Teen Volunteer Council

About This Event

A meeting for teens interested in volunteering and helping with library programs.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll get a feel for the library volunteer projects teens can jump into and you'll likely meet the coordinators who run them.
• 2.The crowd is teens plus staff, and the vibe is casual enough that you can dip in and speak up when you're ready.
• 3.There may be water or light snacks, but it's smart to bring a refillable bottle and dress comfortably for a sit-down meeting.
• 4.Arrive 5-10 minutes early at Wixom Community Center so you can sign in, grab a seat, and chat with other attendees before it starts.
• 5.Come with a quick intro about why you want to volunteer and any program ideas you'd like to propose, then ask about how you can get involved going forward.
