Thousands of marshmallows are dropped from a helicopter; children collect them to trade for a prize.

What to Expect

• 1.Get there early to grab a good spot near the drop zone; the field at Catalpa Oaks fills up fast, and the best view is up close.
• 2.Bring a small bag or tote for marshmallows; there are thousands dropping, so you want something easy to carry and to prevent litter.
• 3.Wear comfortable shoes and dress for Michigan spring weather; be prepared for sun, wind, or a light shower.
• 4.Park in the designated lots and plan extra time for traffic; carpool or rideshare if possible.
• 5.Listen to safety instructions from staff, keep little kids close, and know how prize redemption works so you don’t miss out.
