The Pancakes & Booze Art Show

About This Event

An underground art show featuring over 60 local artists, live body painting, DJ sets, and free pancakes.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll wander a sprawling gallery show with more than 60 local artists, and you can watch live body painting between rooms while the DJ sets keep the energy up.
• 2.The crowd is artsy and friendly but not pushy, so you can chat with strangers about the art if you want or just soak it in.
• 3.Free pancakes are part of the scene, but lines can form during peak moments so plan for a little wait and grab a stack when things calm.
• 4.Logistically the venue is in Detroit at the Tangent Gallery and Hastings Street Ballroom, so plan on a short walk or rideshare and give yourself time to find the entrance.
• 5.If you're a first timer there's no strict dress code and you can blend in easily, so wear comfy shoes and go with a loose plan but be ready to wander.
