The Rochester Symphony Orchestra Presents 'Latin Hearts, European Souls'

About This Event

The Rochester Symphony Orchestra performs a program titled 'Latin Hearts, European Souls'.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early to find a seat in St Pauls United Methodist Church; the space is likely traditional seating and the music starts on time, so give yourself a moment to settle in.
• 2.This is a seated, polished church concert so keep voices low and phones silenced; you can relax into the music without the usual loud venue chatter.
• 3.If there is an intermission take a wander to stretch your legs in the church lobby or narthex, and use the break to reflect on the Latin and European mood of the program.
• 4.Dress smart casual to fit the traditional setting; the church venue and the orchestra program lean toward a refined, respectful atmosphere.
• 5.If you are new to classical concerts, use the program notes to follow the pieces and look for the Latin and European influences that tie the program together; you dont need to be an expert to enjoy the performances.
