The Thorn

About This Event

A visually stunning stage production combining live action, aerial acrobatics, and modern dance to tell the story of God's love for the world.

What to Expect

• 1.The Thorn is a visually bold stage piece that blends live action with aerial acrobatics and modern dance, so keep your eyes on the performers and watch how the story unfolds through movement.
• 2.The crowd is likely to be respectful and focused, so avoid talking during the performance and give yourself a moment to absorb the visuals before reacting.
• 3.Concessions are typical at the Fox Theatre, but lines can get long, so consider grabbing a drink or snack before the show or during intermission if offered.
• 4.Plan your trip to Detroit carefully since the Fox Theatre sits on Woodward Avenue, and arrive a bit early to find parking or arrange rideshare and to locate accessible seating if needed.
• 5.If you are new to theater style performances, give yourself permission to simply watch and feel the imagery rather than searching for a literal plot, and mute your phone.
