Whitney Hanson

About This Event

Live performance by poet and author Whitney Hanson.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early to grab a comfortable seat in the intimate, seated layout of the Magic Stick; the room fills up and front rows go first.
• 2.This is a spoken word/poetry performance, so keep conversations quiet and give the performer your full attention—your focus matters here.
• 3.Drinks are usually available at the venue bar, so plan for a quick intermission or post-show drinks; bring ID and budget extra time for lines.
• 4.Parking around Woodward Avenue can be tight—consider rideshare or public transit and give yourself a few extra minutes to get inside before showtime.
• 5.If the artist has a book or merch, there may be signings after the set; it’s a good chance to say hi and pick up a copy.
