What to Expect
- 1.Sign in at the volunteer desk when you arrive and get assigned to a task; arrive early to catch your briefing and find a good parking spot.
- 2.This is a family-friendly, community-focused fundraiser—there will be kid-friendly activities; if you’re bringing youngsters, sign up for tasks that suit them.
- 3.Parking around 2400 Robina Ave is usually available, but winter weather can mess with curbside spaces—give yourself 10 extra minutes.
- 4.Dress in warm layers and comfortable shoes; you’ll be moving between rooms and staying on your feet.
- 5.Take a few minutes to chat with the Invest in MI Kids volunteers to understand how your contributions help local schools; it’s a tangible way to see where your time goes.
