What to Expect
- 1.The class will be a calm, breath-driven yoga flow on the gym floor with a mix of standing and seated poses. Bring your own mat and a bottle of water.
- 2.Expect a relaxed, respectful crowd; conversations stay light during the session. If you’re new, consider starting near the back so you can mirror the instructor easily.
- 3.Logistics matter: check in at the Boll Family YMCA front desk and give yourself a few extra minutes for parking and getting to the gym.
- 4.Hydrate before and after class and avoid a heavy meal right beforehand to keep you comfortable during poses.
- 5.If you’re a first-timer, don’t hesitate to ask the instructor for modifications or props; yoga at the YMCA is typically beginner-friendly and focused on breath and alignment.
