What to Expect
- 1.Arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in at the Boll Family YMCA front desk and line up a mat space in the group fitness studio.
- 2.Bring your own mat, a water bottle, and a small towel; the room can get warm and not all branches provide mats.
- 3.Tell the instructor about any injuries or limits before class and use gentle variations or props (blocks, straps) as offered.
- 4.Expect a relaxed gym vibe in a shared space—other workouts may be nearby—so move at your own pace and stay mindful of your surroundings.
- 5.After class, hydrate and take a few minutes to stretch; check the YMCA facilities for showers or changing rooms if you’re continuing on with your day.
