About This Event

Detroit's premier anime and Japanese pop culture convention featuring cosplay, gaming, and guests.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a big convention-center setup with cosplay, gaming, guests, and plenty of walking between areas. Check the schedule ahead of time so you do not miss a panel or guest appearance you care about.
• 2.Cosplay is a major part of the scene, but plenty of people attend in everyday clothes. If you are wearing a costume, plan for comfort and bring anything you might need for quick repairs.
• 3.Popular panels, meet-and-greets, and activities can draw lines, so build in extra time rather than planning a tightly packed schedule.
• 4.Food options inside large convention venues can be pricey and busy at peak times. Check the venue's current food rules before bringing snacks, and consider eating before the lunch rush.
• 5.Wear comfortable shoes and keep your phone charged; Huntington Place is a large convention center and you will likely be on your feet most of the day.
