Youmacon 2026

About This Event

Youmacon is a four-day anime convention that celebrates Japanese popular culture and its influence on our own culture over the last few decades. The event features anime, video games, tabletop gaming, and more.

What to Expect

• 1.Huntington Place is a large convention center, so expect plenty of walking between panels, gaming areas, and vendor spaces. Comfortable shoes are a better call than cosplay footwear you have not tested.
• 2.Pick a few must-see panels or activities ahead of time, then leave gaps in your schedule. Lines and room changes can eat into plans at a busy four-day convention.
• 3.Cosplay is part of the scene, but you do not need a costume to fit in. Ask before taking someone's photo, and give elaborate costumes room in crowded hallways.
• 4.Food options inside convention centers can get busy during peak lunch and dinner hours. Check what is available before you arrive and build in time to eat.
• 5.If it is your first convention, use the event schedule and venue map to choose a home base and meeting point. The crowd can make it surprisingly easy to lose track of your group.
