What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a bit early to check in at Boll Family YMCA and locate the workout area; Saturday mornings can get busy, so give yourself a few extra minutes.
- 2.Wear breathable workout clothes and sneakers with good tread, and bring a water bottle—this is cardio-heavy, you’ll be moving nonstop.
- 3.Hydrate and keep a towel handy; Zumba Lift makes you work up a sweat as you dance and groove to the music.
- 4.Let the instructor guide you and use the offered modifications if you’re new or dealing with joints; you can pace yourself and still get a solid workout.
- 5.If you’re new to Zumba, focus on staying with the beat and having fun rather than nailing every step; the group energy and cues will help you pick up pace as you go.
