16th Annual Community Read

About This Event

A community-wide event discussing a selected book to promote literacy and dialogue.

What to Expect

• 1.This is a group discussion of a selected book, so read it beforehand if you want to join in comfortably. You can still listen if you haven't finished.
• 2.Expect a quieter, conversation-focused atmosphere rather than a formal lecture. Give others room to speak and build on their points.
• 3.Bring a few questions or a passage you found interesting; having one ready makes it easier to contribute if you're new to book discussions.
• 4.Check with the library for details about registration, the selected title, and whether copies are available to borrow.
• 5.Plan to arrive a little early to find the meeting room and settle in before the discussion starts.
