Art Fair

About This Event

Annual art fair featuring local and national artists at Kensington Metropark.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan a rough booth map to hit your must-see artists first, then wander the rest. Bring a lightweight tote so you can carry small prints and jewelry without juggling bags.
• 2.It's an outdoor fair—check the forecast and dress for sun and walking. Pack sunscreen, a hat, a light layer, and enough water.
• 3.Have cash on hand and a card backup; some vendors are cash-only and ATMs can be far away. If you plan to buy bigger pieces, ask about payment options.
• 4.Chat with the artists; ask about materials, techniques, and the story behind their work. You'll often get insights you can’t learn from the booth tag.
• 5.Food and seating options vary; lines can be long and shade may be limited. Bring a snack or plan a lunch break so you’re not stuck in long queues.
