What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a bit early to grab a seat and settle in before the talk.
- 2.Bring a notebook or device to take notes on the genealogy problems discussed.
- 3.There will probably be a short Q&A or a hands-on exercise—have one or two specific research questions ready.
- 4.After the session, take advantage of librarian help and local records pointers for follow-up.
- 5.Because it's in a library, keep voices low and follow quiet-study rules between talks.
