Quilt Math is Your Superpower

About This Event

A specialized workshop part of the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo where teacher Michelle Freedman explores the mathematical side of quilting.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a focused class on the math behind quilting, rather than a general sewing demo. Bring something to take notes with so you can keep track of calculations and examples.
• 2.This is a scheduled 90-minute workshop, so arrive a little early to find the classroom and get settled before it starts.
• 3.The workshop is part of a larger sewing and quilt expo, so allow extra time to navigate the venue and check out the expo before or after class.
• 4.If you have a quilting project with measurements or layout questions, bring the details along in case they help you follow the examples.
• 5.Check the workshop listing for any required materials or class-specific instructions, since those details are not included here.
