About This Event

Training course for youth ages 9-18 covering babysitting basics, CPR, and first aid.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a few minutes early to check in at Southfield Pavilion and get settled in the classroom style setup, bring a notebook for babysitting checklists and CPR steps.
• 2.There will be hands on CPR and first aid practice, so wear closed toed shoes and clothes you can move in.
• 3.Expect a friendly but structured crowd of other teens and younger kids with supervising adults. You can chat a bit, but you can focus on the skills.
• 4.Bring water and a light snack for the long day, and plan for a midday break; the venue is indoors so dress for comfort.
• 5.Ask about what certification or completion card you will receive at the end and whether a parent or guardian needs to be present for check in.
