Come From Away

About This Event

A remarkable musical about the town of Gander, Newfoundland, where 38 airplanes were diverted on 9/11.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to park and find your seat. In a small community theatre like Avon Players, seating can fill up and doors can get busy.
• 2.The musical deals with heavy subject matter and can be emotionally moving. Consider bringing a tissue just in case.
• 3.Expect a friendly, intimate vibe typical of a community theater audience; you can chat with a neighbor if you want but you can also just sit and enjoy.
• 4.Concessions are usually simple at Avon Players. Plan to have water or a light snack if you want to avoid lines.
• 5.There is typically an intermission halfway through a musical like this; use it to stretch your legs and discuss what you just saw.
