An open painting session for artists of all levels using watercolor or acrylics.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll be at a casual open-studio setup with easels for watercolor or acrylics. Some basic supplies are provided, but bring your own brushes and paper if you have favorites.
• 2.The crowd is friendly and low pressure. People chat about their projects and you can ask quick tips if you want.
• 3.There isn't a full cafe inside, so bring a water bottle. You can grab coffee or a snack nearby before or after.
• 4.Logistics: The SHAC is at 155 East Commerce Street in Milford, MI. Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in, pick a station, and get settled before the 4:30 pm start.
• 5.First timers: start with a simple subject and do a quick value sketch, then layer color. Don't chase perfection; this session is about experimenting and having fun.
