What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to grab a seat and catch the family story time portion if you’re bringing kids.
- 2.Bring a few questions or ideas to share about the issues being discussed, and keep comments concise to fit in everyone’s time.
- 3.Remember this is a library setting—use a normal speaking voice, be patient while others speak, and give folks a chance to finish.
- 4.If you’re driving, plan for downtown parking or use transit; allow extra time for parking and building access.
- 5.If you or your family needs accessibility accommodations, talk to the library staff before the event so they can arrange seating, sign language interpreters, or other needs.
