Community Impact Day
About this event
A united effort to make both a local and statewide economic impact through service projects including painting, organizing supplies, and garden cleanup.
What to Expect
- 1.You’ll be doing hands‑on community service—painting, organizing supplies, and garden cleanup—so expect a mix of tasks at a few different stations and some light rotations as crews move through the day.
- 2.The crowd tends to be friendly and collaborative—a mix of local neighbors, chamber volunteers, and families who just want to pitch in—so you’ll fit right in even if you’re new.
- 3.Parking around 43155 Main Street is usually available in nearby lots or on‑street spots; plan to check in a bit before 1:00 PM and bring a reusable water bottle for the afternoon.
- 4.Dress for outdoors and physical work—wear closed‑toe shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring sunscreen or a hat if it’s sunny.
- 5.If you’re a first‑timer, look for a team lead, ask to join a task you can handle, and you’ll likely leave with a real sense of making a local impact.
