Computer, Internet, and Email Basics

About This Event

Workshop to start your adventure with Windows computers, covering internet and email basics.

What to Expect

• 1.This is a beginner-focused workshop on Windows, internet use, and email, so expect step-by-step instruction rather than advanced computer topics.
• 2.Arrive a little early to find the workshop area and get settled. Public library sessions may have limited computers, so check whether you should bring a laptop.
• 3.If you already have an email account, bring the login details you need to access it. Don't write passwords where other people can see them.
• 4.You'll get more out of it if you follow along and ask questions as you go, especially if computer terms or steps are unfamiliar.
• 5.The library setting should make this a low-key learning environment, and it's fine to attend alone or just listen when you need a moment to catch up.
