on a new hobby! All supplies will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own crochet hook (size 4 mm or larger).
What to Expect
- 1.This is a beginner-friendly crochet class for grades 6-12; you’ll learn the basics and start a simple project, with all supplies provided (bring your own crochet hook size 4 mm or larger if you have one).
- 2.You’ll be in a library setting with other teens, likely seated at a table, and staff will help you as you go—participation is hands-on but not pressured.
- 3.Plan to arrive a bit early (about 6:15–6:25 PM) to check in, grab a seat, and get settled before things kick off.
- 4.Keep noise to a minimum in the library and bring water; you’ll be working at a table for a while, so comfortable clothing helps.
- 5.If you finish early or want extra practice, ask the librarian about ongoing crochet programs or repeat sessions at the Farmington Community Library.
