Detroit Story Fest

About This Event

A celebration of storytelling featuring local and national voices at the historic Fox Theatre.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive early to park in a nearby garage and find your seat before the crowd fills in the Fox Theatre.
• 2.Expect a lineup of storytellers with different voices, including intimate, personal moments that may pause for reflection.
• 3.If you want snacks or a drink, check concessions early or after the show because lines can get long during peak times in the historic venue.
• 4.For logistics, give yourself extra time for downtown Detroit traffic and consider rideshare or public transit options to 2211 Woodward Avenue.
• 5.If you are new to this, remember it is storytelling not stand up; be respectful during pieces and clap at natural breaks.
