Document Donation Day

About This Event

Be part of Novi's history! Drop in with family photos, old yearbooks, journals, or event flyers to help preserve the community's heritage.

What to Expect

• 1.Bring family photos, yearbooks, journals, or event flyers connected to Novi. The event is described as drop-in, so you can stop by during the 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. window.
• 2.If you know the people, places, or dates shown in your materials, jot those details down or be ready to share them. That context can make old photographs and documents much more useful for local history.
• 3.Sort through your items before you go and bring only what you are comfortable donating. The event is about preserving community heritage, not a general document disposal drop-off.
• 4.It is family-friendly, but keep fragile or irreplaceable items protected while traveling. Ask library staff about handling and donation details when you arrive.
• 5.This is a low-pressure library visit rather than a formal program, so you can browse or chat briefly and leave when you are ready.
