What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive a few minutes early to find Conference Room A in the Farmington Hills location at 32737 West 12 Mile Rd; there’s usually signage from the lobby.
- 2.It’s free and open to everyone—no library card required—so just show up and sign in at the desk if asked.
- 3.This is a relaxed ESL practice group, so expect short prompts and small-group conversations; volunteers can help with pronunciation and word choice.
- 4.Bring a small notebook or index cards for new phrases and be ready to participate at your own comfort level; there’s no pressure to speak the entire time.
- 5.If you’re shy, sit toward the back at first and listen; you can always join in more actively as you get comfortable, and you can invite a friend to try it next time.
