What to Expect

• 1.You’ll wander a rotating lineup of local vendors around the Tollgate Farm grounds—MSU Dairy Store ice cream, local honey, handmade 4-H Club treats, and fresh flowers and produce.
• 2.The crowd is typically friendly and family-friendly, with a relaxed, community-market vibe that’s easy to blend into.
• 3.Food and snacks are the main draw, plus chances to chat with growers and learn a bit about farming and local agriculture.
• 4.Since it’s outdoors and weather-dependent, bring sunscreen, a hat, water, and a light layer for a cooler evening; plan for a late-afternoon to early-evening visit.
• 5.If you’re new, bring a reusable tote for purchases and consider arriving a bit before 4 pm to beat any lines at popular stalls.
