Game Afternoon

About This Event

An afternoon of gaming fun at the Novi Public Library.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a handful of game tables with everything from quick card games to longer strategy titles. If you’re new, look for the beginner-friendly signs and ask library staff to steer you to a tutor or a player who can explain rules.
• 2.Games rotate between tables, so be prepared to try something new and share a table with others. When you sit down, ask for a quick rules rundown if you’re unsure.
• 3.Keep your voice at a library-friendly level and use the designated play areas; if a table gets loud, step outside for a quick break or move to a quieter corner.
• 4.Policy on food varies, so bring water and avoid eating at the game tables; check with staff about snacks or drinks and clean up after yourself.
• 5.Plan to arrive a bit early for sign-in and table setup; parking is on site, and if you need accessibility accommodations, mention it when you arrive.
