Hispanic Heritage Program

About This Event

An inaugural event featuring the culture and contributions of Latino and Hispanic communities in Detroit.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a short, focused program about Latino and Hispanic culture and contributions in Detroit, rather than a full-day festival.
• 2.Arrive a little early so you can find the program space and settle in before the 1 p.m. start.
• 3.This is a museum setting, so plan for an indoor visit and check the museum's current entry and parking details before heading over.
• 4.If you have time, explore the museum's other exhibits before or after the program, but leave room for the 90-minute event.
• 5.The inaugural event may draw a mix of museum visitors and community members; going with a question or a topic you're curious about can make it easier to join conversations.
