What to Expect
- 1.Dress in warm layers and sturdy, waterproof footwear; winter wind by the water can bite, so bring gloves and a hat.
- 2.The walk is relaxed and supportive—go at your own pace and take a moment to pause or breathe as needed.
- 3.Meet at Valade Park's main entrance on Atwater Street (2670 Atwater). Park on-street or nearby lots; arrive 10-15 minutes early for a quick check-in.
- 4.Bring water or a warm drink in a thermos; there may not be refreshments, so plan accordingly for a roughly 60-minute outdoor walk.
- 5.After the loop, there’s an optional brief reflection or quick chat with fellow participants; you can join or skip depending on how you feel.
