What to Expect
- 1.Wear comfortable shoes and plan to log a lot of steps as you wander cobblestone streets and grassy lanes around the village.
- 2.Arrive early to catch the jousting and some of the most popular shows before the crowds swell and vendor lines get long.
- 3.Bring cash for vendor stalls and crafts, since some artisans are cash only and ATM lines can be slow.
- 4.If you want to blend in, consider a light period inspired outfit, but you can enjoy it in regular clothes too.
- 5.Pack water, sunscreen, and a hat; the festival is outdoors for long hours and shade is limited in places.
