Michigan Renaissance Festival

About This Event

Step back in time with jousting, comedy, music, and seasonal themed weekends.

What to Expect

• 1.You\'ll see jousting and live stage acts in multiple arenas, so pick a couple of must-see performances and check the schedule when you arrive.
• 2.The crowd loves costumes and has a playful energy, so you can blend in or go low key, either way you\'ll get photo ops.
• 3.Food stalls offer hearty period inspired fare; lines get long at peak lunch times, so plan meals between shows and bring cash if needed.
• 4.The grounds are large and mostly outdoors, so wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle; map the layout because signs can be easy to miss.
• 5.First timers should pace themselves, arrive early on weekends, and enjoy a few kid friendly activities if you\'re with family.
