Motor City Comic Con

About This Event

Michigan's largest pop culture event featuring celebrity guests, comic book creators, cosplay, and vendors.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a lot of walking between celebrity tables, creator booths, cosplay areas, and vendor aisles. Comfortable shoes will make a noticeable difference.
• 2.The busiest lines are usually for popular guests and sought-after merchandise, so check the event schedule and any guest or photo-op details before you arrive.
• 3.Cosplay is part of the fun, but you can attend in everyday clothes and still have plenty to see. Ask before taking close-up photos of someone in costume.
• 4.Bring a tote or backpack for comics and collectibles, and set a spending limit before browsing the vendor floor.
• 5.The Showplace is a large event venue, so save the venue address and meeting spot on your phone in case your group gets separated.
