What to Expect
- 1.You'll get to see live animals and try nature activities like fishing and canoeing with guidance from staff; pick a station that works for your family.
- 2.The crowd tends to be laid-back and family-focused, so it's easy to wander from demo to demo without feeling rushed.
- 3.Pack water and snacks; you may be outdoors in the afternoon and shade can be limited, so come prepared.
- 4.Wear sturdy shoes and sunscreen; some trails can be uneven and you'll be outside most of the time.
- 5.If you want to canoe, ask whether life jackets are provided or bring a personal flotation device.
