Northern Kentucky Norse at Oakland Golden Grizzlies Mens Soccer

About This Event

Men's collegiate soccer match between Northern Kentucky and Oakland University.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect an outdoor college soccer match with play moving quickly between both ends of the field. Check the venue's seating setup before you go so you know whether to bring a blanket or plan to stand.
• 2.October evenings in Rochester Hills can get chilly, especially once you're sitting still. Bring a warm layer and something rain-resistant in case the weather turns.
• 3.Arrive a little early to find the field entrance and a good viewing spot before kickoff. The listed address is on Oakland University's campus, so allow extra time for parking and walking in.
• 4.Crowd energy will likely rise around close calls and goals, but you can follow the match without needing to socialize. If you're new to soccer, watching how teams transition after gaining possession makes the game easier to track.
• 5.Don't assume concessions or specific bag rules are available at the field. Check Oakland's event information before leaving, and consider eating beforehand if food options aren't confirmed.
