Community pickleball tournament hosted by Commerce Township Parks & Recreation.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early for sign-in and a quick warm-up; the Dodge Park V soccer fields host a community pickleball tournament, so signs and volunteers will point you to your court.
- 2.Bring your own paddle and a water bottle, and check with organizers if balls are provided or if you should bring extras.
- 3.Know your division and court assignments ahead of time and stay on your designated court to keep play moving smoothly for everyone.
- 4.Dress for sun and outdoors: breathable athletic wear, non-marking shoes, hat or sunglasses, sunscreen, and a small chair or blanket for breaks in the shade.
- 5.Be friendly and patient if you’re new to the scene; this is a community event, so be respectful to volunteers, other players, and spectators, and use good sportsmanship at all times.
