What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to map the exhibitor hall at Suburban Collection Showplace and hit your top PTO vendors first, especially those offering fundraising ideas or parent resources.
- 2.Bring plenty of business cards and a sturdy folder—you’ll collect brochures, flyers, and product sheets from multiple vendors, so stay organized by category.
- 3.Wear comfy shoes and plan for a lot of walking between booths; the venue is large and you’ll be on your feet most of the morning.
- 4.Do a quick floor sweep to spot interesting resources and take quick notes on vendor contacts or ideas you want to follow up on later.
- 5.Check the event schedule for any short seminars on fundraising, volunteer management, or PTA best practices and plan to attend at least one session.
