Scarecrows in the City - Scarecrow Building Workshop

About This Event

A family-friendly workshop to build scarecrows that will be displayed throughout the city.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and check in. The museum grounds can get busy and lines form for workshops.
• 2.Dress for mess and bring a tote to carry materials. Comfy shoes are a must since you'll be moving between craft stations.
• 3.If you've got kids, supervise around scissors and fabric, but let them lead on decorating their scarecrows.
• 4.There will likely be other families and kids, so it's a friendly, social vibe; you can chat or quietly observe at your own pace.
• 5.There may be limited on-site food options, so bring a snack or water and plan to store your finished scarecrow until the display period.
