What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a little early to check in and grab a map of the floor so you can find the gaming tables without hunting for 20 minutes.
- 2.Expect a casual, social mix of board games, party games, and quick demos. If you’re new, look for newbie-friendly tables and ask volunteers which games they recommend.
- 3.The vibe will be welcoming and chatty—this is as much about meeting people as it is about playing. If you’re shy, intro yourself and join a relaxed table rather than hopping from game to game.
- 4.For food and drink, use the stadium’s concessions and plan a snack run between rounds. Hydration helps when you’re bouncing between tables for a few hours.
- 5.If you’re a first-timer, ask volunteers for guidance, sign up at the boards, and stick to one or two easy games to start before expanding to longer or more strategy-heavy titles.
