What to Expect
- 1.You'll go through a guided flight of Chinese teas, with notes on history, production, and terroir; take notes on which leaves you want to revisit.
- 2.Zingerman's Delicatessen is a bustling deli setting, so seating can be a bit tight—arrive a little early to grab a comfy spot for the tasting.
- 3.Teas will be presented in a sequence; sip mindfully, cleanse your palate with water between servings, and let the aromas guide you.
- 4.There may be light bites or tea-friendly snacks; check the host for suggested pairings or plan to grab something nearby after the session.
- 5.Parking around Detroit Street can fill up on weekend mornings, so consider rideshare or arriving early, and dress for Michigan weather.
