Begin your little one's lifelong love of reading! Caregivers are encouraged to bounce, sing and play along. Featuring stories, songs, fingerplays, and fun!
What to Expect
- 1.Get there 5-10 minutes early to grab a seat; storytime can fill up fast at a busy library like Lyon Township.
- 2.Bring a small blanket or mat for floor seating if chairs are limited—kids often end up sitting on the carpet.
- 3.Join in! The program invites bouncing, singing, fingerplays, and light movement, so plan to participate with your child.
- 4.Check snack rules beforehand and plan for after the session—libraries usually don’t allow eating during storytime.
- 5.After storytime, wander to the children's collection to check out related books or a new read-aloud for home.
