Summer Concerts at the LaFontaine Family Amphitheater

About This Event

Free outdoor concert for the family at the LaFontaine Family Amphitheater in Central Park.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive a little early to snag a comfortable spot near the LaFontaine Family Amphitheater in Central Park. The outdoor setup fills up, especially on warm summer evenings.
• 2.Bring a blanket or a low chair so you can settle in on the grass when the show starts at 7 pm. And bring a light layer for the cooler evening.
• 3.Pack water and a small snack; there are usually vendors, but lines can be long and you may want a quick bite.
• 4.Check the weather and sunset forecasts; August evenings in Michigan can flip cool after dark, so pack sunscreen earlier and a light jacket for later.
• 5.Be mindful of kids and neighbors since this is a family friendly community event; keep voices down during songs and say hi to nearby families.
