What to Expect
- 1.Plan to sign in at the front desk when you arrive; this is a one-on-one tech help session, so bring your device and its charger so the librarian can work directly on it.
- 2.Have a specific goal in mind and bring examples of what you want to accomplish (email setup, photo backup, printing from a laptop, or learning to use the library's digital resources) along with any login details you might need.
- 3.If privacy or comfort matters, ask to work in a quieter corner or request held screen sharing as needed; the session will be paced to your topic and speed.
- 4.Parking is free at the Farmington Hills location; use the main entrance and let staff know if you need accessibility accommodations.
- 5.After the session, ask for recommended resources and next steps, and jot down the steps you can try on your own or ask about additional library tech classes or online tutorials.
