The Claudettes

About This Event

“A skewed cabaret band of blues, jazz and rockabilly…a sensibility that feels equal parts James Dean and David Lynch.” –Minneapolis Star-Tribune Six albums into their lauded career, the Claudettes...

What to Expect

• 1.You'll see The Claudettes blend blues, jazz and rockabilly with theatrical flair on The Ark's intimate stage.
• 2.The room's acoustics reward close listening and you can expect tight arrangements and standout horn and piano solos.
• 3.This is more listening-room energy than stadium roar—lean into the vibe and let the music breathe between numbers.
• 4.Arrive early to grab a good seat and soak in The Ark's cozy, historic atmosphere; sightlines are best near the front or on the balcony depending on setup.
• 5.There will be a bar with drinks; plan a sensible pacing and hydrate, since downtown Ann Arbor parking can be tight.
