What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early to handle parking and check-in; the club can get busy during a gala, and you’ll want time to settle in before the program starts.
• 2.This is a formal affair, so dress to impress with cocktail attire or black-tie options; bring a light layer since parts of the venue may be outdoors and it can get chilly after sunset.
• 3.Expect an awards-focused program with remarks and recognition; bring business cards and be ready to mingle with honorees and other professionals.
• 4.Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres usually set the tone, with a reception or plated dinner depending on the flow—check dietary restrictions in advance and don’t miss the photo ops at the wall of fame.
• 5.Plan logistics for the late-night finish: there may be limited lighting around outdoor paths, so use the main entrances and arrange rides or valet for a smooth exit around or after midnight.
