Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo

About This Event

A family-friendly Halloween event featuring trick-or-treating, themed entertainment, and festive activities throughout the zoo.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll wander a loop around the Detroit Zoo with trick or treat stations at many exhibits, so bring a sturdy bag and map your candy stops so you don't miss favorites.
• 2.The vibe is family friendly and can be crowded, so start early to dodge lines and consider bringing a stroller or being prepared to carry little ones.
• 3.Concessions may be limited during Zoo Boo, so pack water and kid friendly snacks and plan a quick snack stop between stops.
• 4.Give yourself extra time for parking and entering through the main entrance since evenings on a Halloween event draw traffic around 8450 West 10 Mile Road.
• 5.Wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and plan a few photo moments at the pumpkin displays or festive decorations.
